We personally can’t think of a worse modern day invention than read receipts. You pour your heart out to someone just to have them look at it and then reopen Tinder for the 5th time that day instead of replying to you. Did you ever tell someone you can’t wait to see them again just to be hit with the ellipses? Nothing is more vulnerable than saying exactly how you feel just to be met with READ.
